How we are run

The Campaign to Protect Rural England is a registered charity (number 265028) and is governed by Trustees. Branch President Lord Egremont and Chairman Rodney Chambers oversee our activities supported by our Executive Committee.

We have three part-time paid staff.

Stuart Meier joined us as Director in early 2008.

Our office at Blackboys is staffed each morning by Liz Beeney and Sas Drury, who are always pleased to speak to members on 01825 890975

We work with our National and Regional offices which are both in central London. They guide the Branch, providing support and information that enables us to tackle issues specific to Sussex.

The vast majority of our income is made up of subscriptions paid by our members, plus monies from donations and legacies. Why not support us to help ensure we can continue to work to protect Sussex from the pressures of unsuitable development.
