Countryside champions in Sussex invited to enter CPRE Centenary Awards
Centenary Awards will recognise the people, projects and ideas helping the countryside and its communities thrive.
The awards aim to showcase the individuals, businesses and community groups finding practical, inspiring ways to protect and enhance the countryside.
From innovative housing to community-led green spaces, each award will tell a story about how people are shaping a better future for rural landscapes and the communities connected to them.
Nancy Duckels, Campaigns and Communications Manager at CPRE Sussex said: “In Sussex we are rightly proud of our amazing countryside – from the rolling South Downs to our iconic coastline. We know there are amazing initiatives happening across our historic county to protect and enhance green spaces for future generations, from tree planting and rooftop solar to campaigning for greater countryside access.
“These awards symbolise hope and collaboration. I hope Sussex will be a shining beacon among the celebrations.”
