Volunteer opportunity

Do you love books and the countryside? We are looking for a volunteer to help to organise the CPRE Sussex Book Club.

The CPRE Sussex Book Club discusses books about country life and natural history, and books set in the Sussex countryside.

At its first meeting in June 2023, the CPRE Sussex Book Club discussed Cold Comfort Farm, Stella Gibbons’ classic 1932 comic novel set in the Sussex countryside with Sussex-based bestselling author Elly Griffiths. At its second meeting in October, the Club discussed A Sting in the Tale with the author – local scientist and naturalist, Dave Goulson.
