Shaping a greener future for Sussex

On 4 May there were local elections across almost every district, borough and city council in Sussex. At CPRE Sussex we  published our own manifesto. We hope that new councillors of all parties and none pledge to back our priorities to tackle five big threats to the Sussex countryside and communities:

• Local people priced out of Sussex
• Climate breakdown
• Excessive and damaging development and intensive farming
• A lack of access to nature
• Pollution of our water, air and land.
