What gets built and where
We’d like people to live in communities with access to work, leisure and nature by public transport, cycling or on foot.
We believe that local people should be able to shape the place where they live and must be involved in planning decisions in a meaningful way.
Everyone needs a place to live, but urban sprawl is nibbling away at our green spaces. Developers should prioritise using brownfield sites within our towns.
New development can be in keeping with local character and there shouldn’t be a choice between development or nature. They can co-exist with development avoiding important habitats and being built with space for nature.
