CPRE Sussex appeal to help communities protect the Sussex countryside
Across Sussex, communities are standing up to development that threatens the landscapes, wildlife, villages and farmland they love. They have valuable local knowledge and experience — but too often, these stories and campaigns remain disconnected.
With your support, we can map community campaigns across Sussex, speak directly with people affected by development pressures, and bring their evidence and experience together.
This will help us understand the scale and nature of the threats facing Sussex, identify shared concerns, connect communities facing similar challenges and build stronger relationships with local campaigners. It will also ensure grassroots knowledge feeds directly into CPRE Sussex’s communications, advocacy and policy work — strengthening our influence with decision-makers.
We need to raise £10,000 this autumn to make this project possible.
