Development near Knepp Estate threatens Sussex biodiversity

The proposed housing at Buck Barn, West Grinstead could damage Sussex’s nature recovery network and Horsham District’s Wilder Horsham Project

Main text: In his letter to Horsham District Council, the Chair of CPRE Sussex, Prof Dan Osborn, highlights the value people place on open countryside and green spaces for their health and wellbeing and how the wildlife network around Horsham benefits both people and biodiversity.

If the Buck Barn land is left undeveloped the benefits of the nature recovery network around Horsham, with Knepp at its heart, will increase over the years.
