CPRE Sussex Countryside Day moves to new location

This year’s celebration of the Sussex countryside will be held at the Seven Sisters Country Park.

A free celebration of the countryside is returning to Sussex in a fantastic new location.

This year’s CPRE Sussex Countryside Day will be held at the stunning Seven Sisters Country Park, Exceat, Seaford  on Sunday, 6 September. 10am – 4pm.

From 10am to 3pm visitors can head to the Pump Barn for a range of family-friendly, nature-themed craft activities. Activities will include summer lantern making, clay creature creation and fabric printing using foraged leaves.

There will also be interactive sessions focused on protecting the Sussex countryside.

From 3pm to 4pm a Centenary Celebration Talk will reflect on 100 years of countryside protection – and what comes next.

Guided walks exploring the nature and history of the Seven Sisters will start at 10.30am, 11.30am and 2pm. Walks are £4 or £2 for CPRE Sussex members.
