Celebrate the extraordinary beauty and value of our trees in Sussex with the Tree Festival 2026!

2:00pm – 4:00pm Steyning

Come and enjoy a Forest School taster session on the Steyning Downland Scheme! Jen and Beth (qualified Forest School leaders) will lead you in a variety of activities – including fire lighting, cooking and creative craft.

Meet at: The Gateway (off Mouse Lane) – (What3Words: nests.stay.fond )

Tickets £8 per young person This session is for young people only, no dogs or adults.

Vehicle access on Mouse Lane (drop-off only). Nearby car parks on Steyning High Street nearest bus stop Steyning Clock Tower (no. 2). The forest school site is in the field opposite the Gateway building (walking access only via kissing gate).
