Celebrate the extraordinary beauty and value of our trees in Sussex with the Tree Festival 2026!

A family-friendly talk & guided walk 

2 pm – 4pm Lewes

Come join Michael Blencowe, renowned Sussex naturalist, for a family-friendly talk and guided walk on the Railway Land Nature Reserve. Find out about the amazing wildlife that live in our woods and how trees support so many different lives – including ours!

The talk will be upstairs at the Linklater Pavilion (accessed by the exterior metal staircase). Wheelchair access via lift if needed.

25 places, dress for the weather and bring a drink, walk is over uneven ground, no dogs. The Pavilion is a short walk to Lewes high street (bus stops) and train station. No parking on-site, nearest (paid) car park Friars Walk (2 min walk away).

Family friendly, tickets £8.
