Steve, a former plant scientist and breeder who has been teaching horticulture at Brinsbury College for 20 years explains just how crucial our gardens are for wildlife. Outlining how, in even the smallest gardens, we can all do our part to create better habitats in our own spaces as well as encouraging nature in our neighbourhoods by planting trees and shrubs. His talk is followed by your questions, answers and a discussion.
