Tree planting in Elm Grove, Brighton

The Hanover Action Group recently got together with CPRE Sussex volunteers to develop plans to green up Brighton’s Hanover area.

We were all surprised and delighted to see the Connick Tree team off to an early start today planting three lovely Turkish Hazel saplings at the bottom of Elm Grove!

The new trees are planted in a green triangle which was once home to three magnificent elms, sadly lost to disease.

A great addition to the area!
