CPRE Sussex lobbies for new NPPF

9th July 2018

CPRE Sussex has written to all Sussex MPs with concerns about the new National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF).

CPRE Sussex Chair, David Johnson and Trustee and Chair of the Protect Sussex Group, Dr Roger Smith outlined why the new NPPF would not lead to the right outcomes for local people and the environment. See their letter to all Sussex MPs below.

Nus Ghani, Nick Gibb and Sir Peter Bottomley all took this request forward with the minister whose response can be found at the bottom of this page. Nick Herbert took part in a parliamentary debate about these issues which can be found on his website.

CPRE Sussex is disappointed that the Minister has not really addressed the charity’s concerns.

The new NPPF is expected before the summer recess (24th July 2018).
